Website Maintenance & Support
Website maintenance and support covers everything that keeps a live site running after launch: software and app updates, security monitoring, bug fixes, backups, and small content changes. Lula Group offers ongoing maintenance plans for every site we build, so your site doesn't get abandoned the day it goes live.
What's actually included
Platform and app updates. Shopify, themes, and installed apps updated as new versions release.
Security monitoring and backups. Regular backups so a site can be restored if something breaks.
Bug fixes. Broken links, layout issues, checkout or form errors fixed without a new project quote.
Small content updates. Text, image, or product changes without waiting on a full dev cycle.
Uptime and performance checks. Site speed and load issues caught before they cost you sales.
What it doesn't include
Maintenance plans cover keeping your existing site running, not growing it. The following are quoted separately, outside the maintenance plan:
- Full redesigns. A new look, layout, or structure for the site.
- New features or functionality. Booking systems, new integrations, new apps requiring setup and testing.
- New pages or sections. Beyond small content edits to what already exists.
- Rebuilds on a different platform. For example, moving from Shopify to another system.
If you're not sure whether something falls under maintenance or a new project, ask. We'll tell you straight before any work starts, not after.
Why this matters
Most website problems we see aren't design problems. They're neglect problems. A site launched well and never touched again slowly breaks: apps go out of date, checkout errors creep in, and nobody notices until a customer complains. A maintenance plan means someone is actually watching it.
Who this is for
Any business already running a Shopify or website build, whether we built it or not. Trades, eCommerce, beauty and skincare, dog grooming and pet product businesses, marketing agencies, event companies, consultants, and florists across South West Sydney.
Get a support plan
How much does website maintenance cost after launch? It depends on your site's size and how often you need changes made, so we quote it per business rather than a flat rate. Get in touch and we'll give you a straight number based on what you actually need.
What happens if my website breaks or Shopify updates something? If you're on one of our support plans, we monitor for issues and fix them as part of your plan. No separate quote, no waiting. If something breaks outside a plan, get in touch and we'll tell you exactly what's needed.
Do I need a maintenance plan if I already have a website? Yes, if nobody is currently maintaining it. We take on maintenance and support for sites we didn't originally build. We'll review what's there first and let you know what shape it's in before you commit to anything.
How often should a website be updated? At minimum, apps and platform software should be checked monthly, and content like offers, products, hours, and contact details should be reviewed whenever it changes in your business. A site that hasn't been touched in 6+ months is usually costing you leads without you realising it.
